I've got the book. I've read the book (well, most of it, I didn't bother with the last two phases yet). I had scrambled egg for breakfast and in a short while I shall be getting myself down to Tesco and purchasing massive amounts of protein.
I'm hoping that I will do okay with this, as a couple of years ago I did Lighter Life and managed to lose 3 1/2 stone, which I did keep off for about a year. However, at the end of last autumn I was struck down with a couple of illnesses which just took it's toll on my healthy eating and now I've managed to put 3 stone back on!! (I feel full of shame over it, considering the money LL cost me!!). However, it proved to me that I can stick to something if I really want to, and I REALLY want to have shifted some weight by the time we get to Christmas.
Anyway, I'm hoping that by following the Dukan, I can still lead a relatively 'normal' life but lose weight in a similar way to LL (I was never one of the 5lb a week losers, always around 1-2lbs a week. I've been doing WW for 6 months and lost 5lb - my body really doesn't like letting go of the fat!!).
I have a suitcase full of 'slim' clothes that I can't barely get a leg into, let alone do up.
Anyway, I'm not sure if anyone will read this, but I think it would be good to jot it all down. If you do happen to come across this page, and have any Dukan feedback then please do leave a comment as I'd love to hear from you.
